The Joy of Giving

Little A came home from school today so excited. He said he had something that he couldn't wait to show me. He wanted to keep it safe (and alive) so he gently placed it in his pocket to bring home. As soon as we walked into the house he gently pulled it out and proudly displayed it in his hand. He was so disappointed that it was no longer wiggling. He still was very proud that he was able to keep the earthworm in his pocket all day to give to me. I made him take it outside to "visit his wormy friends". Little did I know that he decided to recapture the earthworm on the way to the car. Later this afternoon as he was totally relaxed in the dentist chair (notice his legs) for his cleaning he promptly told the dental hygenist that if she would clean his teeth quickly he had a treat for her.... (The earthworm is now visiting his wormy friends from the pipes of the toilet bowl!!) LOL!!!
