One Happy Family

For the past week or two we have been seeing a male cardinal flying around the house and bushes in the front yard. Of course, I had to take a picture of the beautiful bright bird. Last week, we noticed the female flying around with him. Okay, a date in the sky...no biggie. On Friday, we noticed a little "cheep cheep" in the bushes. We seperated the bushes to find a small nest with 2 recently born baby cardinals. Just a few times a day we can see Mommy in the nest with her babies but for most of the day she is gone. The picture of her is not that clear because I was scared to get too close. The kids love checking on them several times a day and watch them grow. Okay, I love it, too!
