Sleep Study Superhero

Little A had a Sleep Study done on Friday night at our local Children's Hospital. I was nervous that he would not cooperate because it was spending the night at the hospital. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! We arrived at the Sleep Lab at 8:00pm and was take to our very nice hotel room! It was just like staying in an hotel! The only medical equipment you saw was on one small nightstand that the wires connected to. Little A was very happy to stay in a "special hotel"! They wired him up (took about an hour) and the study (and the videotaping) began at 10:00pm. I was not able to sleep in the bed so I "slept" in a chair. At 6:00am, they came and woke him up, freed him from the wires, gave us a breakfast ticket for the cafeteria and we were on our way. He slept the best he could-but didn't complain about a thing. He liked being "wire man"!!

Glad he did okay - that can be a little scary for a little one.
