Little A: Star of the Week

Little A was chosen by his teacher to be the first Star of the Week last week. Boy did he have a great time! Everyday his jobs included: holding the flag for the Pledge of Allegiance, erasing the boards, saying the prayer for snack and lunch, being the line leader and just helping Mrs. L whenever she needed an extra hand. He had to provide the snacks everday for his classmates so we tried to be clever and have each snack start with an A: apple jacks, apple sauce, animal crackers, apples and "A" cupcakes (we really had to strectch on Friday!)On Monday, he had to bring a sharing bag with things he found around the house that started with the letter A (that was the letter of the week) Some of the few things he found were an apple, Airbud Movie, America the Beautiful book, and his sister!! The rest of the week he shared different things that he was proud of. We made a picture board of several of his favorie pictures. He had a great week and was so proud of the attention he was given as Star of the Week!!
