February 1st was the 100th day of school for Big A! Her school had a 100 Day Celebration which included everyone wearing something that represented 100. Big A wore 100 iron-on cupcake transfers on her pink "cupcake" shirt. Her white hat (the icing) had 100 "sprinkles" on it. She won the best dressed costume for the first grade!!!! Whoever designed that costume was brilliant!!! :-) :-)

And the Winner is...

We visited K's future elem. school on the same day! What a nifty idea to get the kids to think of 100. Nice costume, too. Very clever.

J had his 100th day last week and they weren't asked to do anything cool like that!!!
How cute! And how exciting that she won. :) Melinda won a contest for "Say No to Drugs" week at that age. The one who designed her winning shirt was brilliant too.
(although not quite as brilliant as A's designer) ;o)
