Zoo Operating/Examining Room

This was the Operating/Examining Room at the Zoo. All of the equipment was donated to the zoo from local hospitals. Yes, it is the same equipment that is used for human treatments. That blue machine is used to anesthitis the animals. The venomous snakes are placed into a long plastic tube until half of their body is in the tube. Then the anesthia is blown into the top of the tube to put the snake to sleep. Pretty interesting!!
